This piece continues the story of “Our Mothers Wore Light Like” collection This by honoring women who carried light within themselves and shared it with others.
In this piece, a woman stands in the dark carrying fire above her head. Even though we do not see her face, her presence feels calm The flame becomes a symbol of hope, strength, and light.
The work is about the women who carried so much for their families and still kept going. Women who brought warmth, care, wisdom, and love into the home, even during hard times.
The white lace clothing gives the image softness and peace, while the darkness around her makes the flame stand out more. Together, they create a feeling that is simple, quiet, and powerful.
