How does the Earth tell its story if it doesn't have a voice? What we see is a sacred text full of destruction, rebirth, and survival. Born of stardust, the earth has been etching its memoir for millions of years. Year after year the seasons come and go. Desert seasons are subtle. They may seem dry constantly, but they ever so gently change and alter the landscape.
Throughout our lives, we ebb and flow through seasons too. Lush seasons are enjoyable. However, it is the desert seasons, the difficult struggles we go through, are the ones that have the ability to create massive changes in how we see life. While the desert seasons are difficult, I'm most grateful for them.
