One of three unpublished works from my Folio Society edition of Arthur C. Clarke's Rendezvous with Rama, made for the book but never used on it.
Gest is the medieval spelling of guest, from a time when the word meant both a guest and a stranger. The two senses hadn't fully separated yet, and a visitor from elsewhere is always a bit of both.
Built with a combination of Blender and Photoshop, ink, water and paper textures.
The buyer receives a signed copy of the Folio Society Rendezvous with Rama and an archival giclée print of the work.
