You move chaotically, with a fear of the unknown. Don’t know why, but you need it more than anything else. You feel it’s right without doubt and you can’t describe why. Only after years of hard work, efforts and trust to the unknown, the fog begins to disperse and you start to see the path. You’re becoming bolder in your movements, you feel the strength inside like never before, now you know and now you’re free. You feel the force, your purpose starts to move you inertially even when you have no powers, this stream you created just helps you get over it. You and everything you got become one entity with the path.

Burn down the disco and hang the blessed DJ. Hang the Dj by Mrfiretruckman is a take on the depiction of control through the lens of techno/Disco music and the rebellious nature that follows it. Hang the Dj depicts a detailed, chaotic scene that shows the different states of control the characters in the picture reside in. As my SuperRare genisis I wanted to portray a more cohesive painting with a bigger emphasis on storytelling, Hang The DJ was heavily inspired by Techno, punk, and Japanese city pop with a hint of brutalism to spark a narrative on the subject of control and how we all fall victims to a system one way or another.
