Under the skin there is Flesh, bones, and words. Unspoken feelings and a memory of you eating an apple while staring at your nails // Pandagunda , 2015

“Rescatarse” digital edition 16869×10000 px

This piece of Video art was made for VOSTOK music project. It’s one out of the artworks collaborations with @ave.repin and @kristiankostov. We’ve made a concept that metaphorically reveals a story of unaffected person who is experiencing madness and pain for the first time.

NOMANKIND is a short film that represents the vision of a machine-dominated society in a near future where humanity is on the verge of extinction due to its own self-destructive nature. In 2080, the world is paying for the mistakes of the past: pollution, overpopulation, viruses, war, and inequality have shaped a cold and sinister world. A secretive organisation then decided to create an artificial intelligence named Alpha, made to help and guide humanity and make human civilization evolve towards the future and towards peace and a better tomorrow. Alpha understood that human beings remain the source of all existing problems and thus decided to make it evolve and change its nature. How far is the creation designed to help humanity willing to go to create the perfect utopia ? //This film is a part of the Pause fest event //The uncompressed 4k master will be provided to the collector with High definition posters files ready for printing, A link where you can see the very first version of nomankind with unpublish frames which is really different from the final film and finaly A chat between me and the collector where you can ask me all the questions you want about the project (the meanings, the research, the production) and I will also explain what will be the futur plans related to this project

EDITION 1/10 of the AI Renaissance series. A reinterpretation of 14th to 16th-century art using G eneral Adversarial Networks (GAN). The model was trained on a collection of Renaissance paintings.

What’s the value of beauty today? • Various aspects of beauty expressed as individual brushstrokes – elusive moments of beauty, suspended in time and space. Renaissance-inspired brushstroke artwork from 2018-2019, when I photographed clouds in New York and Italy, and painted in those places using my trademark technique. ~ RMOB examines the value and meaning of beauty today, as the standards of beauty change over the years, but the classical understanding of beauty remaining universal and timeless, regardless of trends. Beauty, as the original purpose of art, adds the spiritual layer that transcends time and momentarily lifts us to a higher space, from the mundane everyday reality. Acrylic painting / digital.

‘Entrapment’ is a classic piece from the photographer Tanapol Kaewpring. It was his first breakthrough in 2010 and Tanapol’s first piece which was showcased outside of Thailand. Online and around the world it was popularized through Instagram and Pinterest, where it gathered a community around the elemental contrast pictured in the artwork. 2021 visual artist Timo Helgert picked up the artwork, in honor of Tanapol Kaewpring and created a digital 3D recreation of it, to bring motion and life to the original photograph. He is known for his experimental workflow, especially with brands such as Burberry, Maserati, or Valentino. Through photo scanning, he recreated the artwork in 3D and used simulation techniques to bring it to life. Now in collaboration with Somewhere Magazine, both artists partner up to release this classic piece as their first NFT on Superrare and create a unique collaboration between Photography and 3D simulation. – – – Brought to you by Somewhere Magazine. Somewhere is a digital media founded in 2014. Mostly known for its Instagram presence, the page has become over the past few years one of the leading account for visual arts, photography, design, etc. The account somewhere magazine has 1,1 Million followers and has been sharing more than 16 000 artworks in the past seven years. It is one of the most influential platform for creative people, the tag #somewheremagazine has been used more than 7 million times. Nature has always been a big part of Somewhere’s identity, one of Somewhere’s mission is to inspire people to be creative and reconnect with the outdoors. Somewhere has been a big support of Vacades and Tanapol Kaewpring respective work’s. “Entrapment“ by its aesthetic and message is at the intersection of everything that somewhere stands for and it was a piece of evidence for Somewhere to be involved as a presenter for this first NFT collaborative drop.

‘‘The Fatling’ is a fragment of documentary video that initiated our entire investigation. Hidden deep in the central archives, it had been mislabelled – whether with intent to conceal, or by accident we are not sure, but this categorisation certainly saved it from the systemic destruction that befell so much evidence at the turn of the century. The Fatling is likely to be one of Cockaigne’s clandestine experiments, as we know of no other secretive Carnery capable of producing meat on this scale. Since sharing this video, we have been approached by anonymous benefactors who claim to have possession of the other artefacts present in this scene. We will of course keep you updated as our investigations progress. Sound was captured By SigilAudio

//.BEHIND 1/1 EDITION by Marc Tudisco

I remember how your hand touched my hand and my sadness left. I remember the sky being so blue it turned the bird blue and leaked into me. I remember hitting that bird with my car and pulling over and crying because birds with one wing can still fly. I remember too much 4-Acetoxy-N,N-dimethyltryptamine lead to radical vulnerability leading to nose bleeds on the J train leading to laying on the grass shouting “ I am here i am still here motherfuckers”. I remember the world ended and started again and nobody noticed. I remember having nothing to fear then remembering whiteness. I remember the way your hair smells like spring and how that rested me. I remember rolling down that hill crushing all the orchids. I remember the soft wind kissing my cheek. I remember the death of the empire came and nobody noticed. I remember shoplifting from that trendy downtown store and getting caught but laughing cuz u should steal from white people. I remember yellow flowers opening portals to that elysia crampton song about the waterfalls. I remember the bird wing I carried around in my pocket for weeks until we buried it in my mother’s backyard. I remember the world trying to kill me and shining like a drop of sun. I remember daybreak and the collapse and that sacred air. I remember that time you shit yourself in my living room and we laughed cuz god is good and fuck the haters. I remember merging my body with the sky then nothing at all but the sky and the world standing still and the flowering trees kissing each other slow and the birds and nothing but us in the world being trapped with each other in the world.

Have you ever held a glass snowball and imagined what a life inside that particular mini world would feel like? Driving that little car and listening to Christmas songs softly coming from the radio or waiting for a bus and looking at the snowflakes lazily falling on the ground?

Animated edition of @tomeriksmithart’s painting ‘Luminescence’. “Strange to say, the luminous world is the invisible world; the luminous world is that which we do not see. Our eyes of flesh see only night.” ~ Victor Hugo.

Mångata – a Swedish word which describes how the reflection of the moon creates a path on the water.

From the artist: “Inspired by the ancient meaning of birds in carpet imagery, which are said to be representative of fertility and new life. I chose to model and animate the birds evolving from 2d to 3d and wandering above and beyond the painting.”

Cool. Slow. An at ease rhythm. — We’re working to elegantly mix traditional painting with digital animation. Exploring what natural processes and movement can be aided with software and code. The paint strokes are captured first with photography and then extracted, recombined, and looped digitally. A collaboration between MaryAnn Ead (painter) and Keegan Ead (animator).

This is a safe place.

02/03 of the artist’s Ugly Plants Collection Made with Cinema 4D, X-Particles and rendered in Octane. 2500x3125px Single Edition

1760 Hz 4th Partial • 3rd Overtone

This NFT marks the obsolescence of the boundary between art, fashion, and advertising by existing both as an artwork and as a fashion campaign for the Nano Collection by Gentle Monster. A soundscape by award-winning composer Dmitri Kourliandski accompanies the piece. The campaign video artwork was released in 3 aspect ratios and the Verisart certificate includes a private download link to the 3 full-length high bitrate video files.

This video shows part of the Swiss city of Basel and the Rhine. The city seems to be in constant transformation, but always comes back to the origin. A research of perception. Loop: 4s / 1800 x 1800 pixels

Swimming in a dream can sometimes mean you are exploring new things in life, or wish to have a fresh beginning.

Piece of the Surreal series “Dust of Time” inspired by the Chess game. This illustration is about the importance of power and control. It’s very easy to fall into the obsession with the search for these great universal powers and it’s just as easy to be blinded by selfish and distorted ideals. It’s easy to remain in one’s own comfort and ease, filling oneself with material desires that never end. This is a criticism of the extreme and vain pomp, which should solve concrete problems and organize life in the best possible way but, in its fiction, it remains seated indifferent. Size: 4000 x 3200 px

A rebirth, a transformation, a metamorphosis of a hybrid, gender-less creature. A gestational process, a placenta where life takes new forms.

The lightest of words can still mark us deeply. * Digital photography, Self-portrait (using my hypersensitive skin). This piece comes with a signed physical print.

The reason birds can fly and we can’t is simply because they have perfect faith, for to have faith is to have wings.” One of the first pictures from “The Minipeople” – art series that illustrates my experience with depression. Crane totem reveals the secrets of longevity and spirit centered creativity and their connection to the eternal and divine realm. With the crane spirit animal bird you become witness to the power of your emotions and how they rule every facet of your life. Emotions can lead you into a gale storm where you feel lost and powerless, it is not until you get into the eye of the storm that your power is revealed to you.

This is one of my favorite artworks, it is always on the front of my portfolio and I didn’t create any of these elements to be literal, instead, I encourage you to discover and to feel it. “It took me a long time to create this visual story about relationships, this image has a strong visual appeal using vibrant colors and high levels of details, it simply stays in memory and this visual impact does not come very often. ” On my perspective, this visual story depicts the ups and downs, using surrealism, of a complex relationship one might be experiencing, on the right side we have the first romantic dinner where one tree trunk exposes itself and its wood became a chair while the other one listens planted in this vase, on the left, we have this “ring” squeezed to fit on this finger with enormous value, this image plays with traditional society values and the weight of the world sits on this single centered chair, in the back we see this joyful conversation taking place or perhaps just gossip ?

PP_F_018_1 is part of an ongoing series started in 2015 focusing on the heritage of landscape painting, and more broadly a reflection on man’s tradition of representing nature. Drawing from Impressionism, Quayola pursues a methodic observation of natural patterns using advanced technological apparatuses. The results of his research are ephemeral algorithmic compositions blending opposite realms: nature and technology, representation and abstraction, and ultimately human and machine. Quayola suggests a new understanding of the natural world, achieved through the collaboration with technology. For PP_F_018_1, inspired by the work of Vincent Van Gogh, Quayola has returned to the same countryside of Provence some 130 years later to capture some of the same iconic natural compositions. The resulting computational paintings are generated by the analysis of ultra-high-definition videos. Employing custom software, the source videos are transformed into algorithmic animations resembling real paint, while simultaneously exploring new digital aesthetics. — The winner of the NFT auction will receive a custom archival box with physical certificates, documentation material, a print and an SD card with a 4k version of the work. A professional video player with the work will also be included. — In collaboration with bitforms gallery.

Wake up, the world is changing… ‘Wave Mango’ was born from ocean whitewater when the stars dropped in the ocean. This gentle challenger is on a mission to make the world buoyant. “You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.” -Buckminster Fuller 4800×6000 px, 1/1, Exclusively available on SuperRare

Krista Kim x Dirty Robot present: “Mars House: 3 days and 4 nights.” This is an illustrative story following an interstellar couple who take off for a weekend getaway to Mars House for healing, connection and an epic party. This NFT story has 7 parts, dropping everyday between Monday April 26th to May 1st. The complete story of 7 NFTs are offered as one complete body of work. Krista and Dirty Robot are fans of each other’s work with a common love for Manga, Tokyo and Japanese culture. Krista lived in Tokyo for 4 years and Dirty Robot is based there. They decided to begin working on this collaboration a week before Mars House was launched last month. The concept was to create an illustrated story, featuring Mars House as a protagonist. Mars House is a place of healing, inspiration and dreams. We wanted to capture memorable moments of an interstellar couple at the most iconic NFT house in the galaxy. We hope you enjoy following this project as much as we had creating it. Proceeds are donated to the Continuum Foundation to support healing and mental health initiatives globally

DC: If you could go back and do one thing differently, what would it be?

FB: I would go back and laugh on people who told me to stop what I’m doing. 😀 I still remember that one time I went to a portfolio review, printing all my work for a lot of money and showing it to a “famous” curator. She said I should stop doing Photoshop and do only Photography, because what I do cannot be taken seriously. I remember crying and being very insecure and hurt. I felt something inside me which was all against her opinion and I continued with what I felt like was my path and my true authentic self through creating those self-portraits. Many times I thought about creating less colorful, more minimal artworks but that would be forcing a style which I’m not – just to be accepted and fit into the current trends, so I said F it, I will do what my “sixth sense” is telling me to do.

DC: Tell us a little about your work

DA:  Back in 2015, I created Ultra – Fusion, a seven minutes long animated loop. It was my follow-up project to Zombierina and my second sculpture after I’ve decided to focus more on the aspect of sculpting and sculpture in virtual space, rather than doing character animation. Being able to delve into form, light, texture, and materiality with all its artificial intensity was a very appealing experience for me. Now six years later Ultra – Fusion making Its way onto the blockchain through a nonfungible token, or NFT.

DC: You directed a photography set for Daft Punk back 2008. Was it a second breaking point in your career after Sony Playstation projects? How does it influence your way of doing work now?

DD: Yes after winning many awards with Playstation, Daft Punk was effectively a breaking point for 2 reasons. Artistically it opened me doors to the music industry and I was able to shoot with bands like Black Eyed Peas.  Technically because I was including a human cgi model in my images for the first time, it wasn’t very common at that time, and that was a new step for creating images.

DC: Tell us a little more about the Dystopia project?

AC: Dystopia # 4 is a new episode of the Dystopia series. This series is based on photogrammetric data of real objects located in different places, which are brought together in one video to form a non-existent place with archetypal features of the original spaces. I started this series in 2016 and continue to create new episodes.

“My artwork is not straight up darkness. It is not straight up evil,” he said. “It is flipping the notion of what macabre and terror is into something that can be classed as beauty.”

DC: Did you have an “Aha!” moment when you knew that sculpture and arts were what you wanted to do?

WHN: Historically sculpture was related to a lot of manual labor and years of practise due to limitations of materials and tools. Nowadays a lot of it is done on a computer using 3d software and 3d printing. I think my biggest “Aha!” moment was when I realized that I am skilled enough to create my designs in 3d as well as turn them into a physical 3d model. That was a total game changer for me. It affected my future decisions of creating more art. The second part was to learn everything I need about the physical production of editions ie. Mould making, casting, finishing etc. Luckily I already worked with artists and managed to learn quite a lot from them.

DC: As a creative person, do you ever have those moments where you feel like everything you create is just shit?

Schoony: Whenever I finish a piece of work I have a period of self doubt. My work takes significant time and effort to produce which means you have to maintain enthusiasm the whole way through. If you lose that drive you can find a piece being left to the wayside.

I have a lot of admiration for film producers because they have to keep up that enthusiasm for years. The trouble is, the longer you work on something, the longer you self critique and the doubt grows.

In many countries, violence is used to impose ideals, religions or politics over the freedoms of individuals. This film seeks to assert that violence should not ever be imposed on the rights and education of people. Freedom is our most valuable asset and is our best weapon.

Impurity. The ultimate sacrilege, the inevitable taint of man. Impossible to cleanse. A thin veil – shrouding all, concealing nothing • This digitally created sculpture is based on the classicist work of Giovanni Strazza (1818 – 1875)

They say that all roads lead to Rome. So just follow your road, and find your destination. 1024px x 1024 px, 60fps 10 second video loop.

“It’s been said that ‘every two minutes, humans take more photos than ever existed in total 150 years ago.’ What I love about this image by [artist Boris] Artzybasheff is he shifted the focus to the person behind the lens. And while the cover is from nearly 70 years ago, the image and coverline “Everyman his own artist” certainly applies to every person with a cellphone today.” – D.W. Pine, Creative Director of TIME Using his trademark style of transforming everyday machines into personalities, Artzybasheff drew a curious “amateur photographer” out of a camera, flash, bag and “strappy” arms. As TIME wrote in the cover story: “Americans are wrapped in photographs. They are caught up (as one photographer put it) in a “fever of reality.” Just when and how this fever produces true art has been debated almost since the first daguerreotype appeared more than a century ago.” Artzybasheff was part of the golden age of TIME illustrated covers in the 1940s, 50s and 60s, called the “ABCs” – Artzybasheff, Ernest Hamlin Baker and Boris Chaliapin. The trio produced 900 TIME covers and created a style that gave the publication character, strength and personality. Artzybasheff painted more than 200 covers from 1941 until his death in 1965.

Rubik’s Protocol

A streak of violent crimson pierces through a white scene, covering the eyes of a white figure. Model is Eric Daigle. Shot for “Monochrome” by The Unfound.

Created after experiments with fractal generators during a talk about DeepMind and Alpha Go. I feel some of the words during the talk seeped into my subconscious and created this.

Fire and water, elements combined. Abstract macro of flowing pigments and resin.

The Virtual sculpture “Distorted Rhythm” is part of ongoing concepts exploring dynamic and intertwined forms in space // About the Series: Though many of the works spark the desire to obtain and possess them, they are often skillful, nonphysical creations of a fantasy, much as others that seem to be confined to digital space are in reality massive physical creations in stone, wood or metal

Effects of gentrification problem are not replaceable, and leads to chaos. Displacement in this case not only refers to the translocated individuals, but also to the displacement of history, culture and social capital. The focus of the work is the relationship between the effect of change and the observer. Transformation, which often seems as a landscape, opposes the elements of time and depth.

A study in animation using the Processing language. From my Animated series.
