Today's a very special day since it's sunday and we are all together from each side of the planet reflecting together about goblincore and about art. Dividing the main GoblinGrid full 10000x10000 piece and putting it together again is and was like a breathing cycle, breaking it, putting it together. Aseprite can't take an image this size so I cut patches in gimp and work on them on aseprite and brought them back to gimp. Patches of several sizes, as work in the whole separate from the grid dividing and putting together.
The work is kind of not all the time conscious and rational about composition. Sometimes it was just about the constant gesture the hand needs to do and the little pieces of canvas I pick up and use as brush for a while.
