I started from a full-length photograph of the Shroud of Turin which is said to have been the cloth placed on Jesus at the time of his burial (Giuseppe Enrie, 1931, public domain work of art.)
I let the image be invaded by a colony of artificial life that feeds of pixels, expanding along unpredictable paths, apparently never ending (Making of: https://medium.com/@massimo.franceschet/game-of-pixel-46dda248f938). As a child that fancies about alien life, I love to dream that this image is telling truths, computing answers, giving hope.
