The first night I arrived in St. Louis, I knew it was different. The air spelled like the Midwest. This Cowboy had no clue, what I thought would be six months, turned into 6.5 years. I never smoked Mary Jane until I arrived in the Lou. I guess you can say the music culture, and atmosphere got the best of me. It took about two years, making beats for Murphy Lee, and Kyjuan. Sooner or later, Nelly was using my music on the Longest Yard movie soundtrack with Adam Sandler. I was At Sea with myself. Not any reason to be Shooting Iron if I didn't have too. Cornell Haynes was my savior, little did he know. Can you imagine seeing an artist become the rap Michael Jackson from the eastern side, next thing your in the same music studio with him. You better believe it partna. But, I sacrificed a lot, lost the woman I loved dearly. Success is a double edged sword. I guess I made my bed, and have to live in it. Was all this success worth it? You damn right. I didn't come all the way over here for nothing nah, you hear? Time to get my Scotch Whiskey and blow some some tunes in the air.
