She is known only as the Bearer of the Seal.
Beneath a hat marked with ofuda talismans whispering ancient incantations, she walks between worlds, carrying a living Kekkai bound to his own body. Each paper does not protect, it contains.
Her exposed eye observes with unnatural precision, while the other remains sealed. It is said that if opened, the barrier would cease to exist and so would everything it holds. The bandages on her arms do not hide wounds, but inscriptions. Seals carved into her skin, imprisoning fragments of something that once tried to emerge.
The motion of her hand sustains the seal, repeated endlessly to keep himself from breaking. But the talismans are beginning to fail and for the first time, she smiles, not out of peace but because something within she's finally awakening.
