"The greatest learning of the ages lies in accepting life exactly as it comes to us."
”The Minipeople" is an art series that illustrates my experience with depression. Each image is a message from my subconsciousness trying to show me the way and guide me through difficult times. These works were a way to communicate with my soul when my mind was trying to keep me occupied with negative thoughts.
This one is a reminder that life is not about fixing things, making them better or trying to change them. It's not about judging, comparing and complaining. It's about allowing things to be the way they are. Without rejecting or getting attached. Without trying to chase happiness or escaping from difficult emotions. Just be the way you are. It doesn't mean you don't care. It means you know yourself. It means you love and accept yourself. Be gentle. Be forgiving. Be compassionate. Everything needs time.
