“To be wise means to know when to stay silent.” ”The Minipeople" is an art series that illustrates my experience with depression. Each image is a message from my subconsciousness trying to show me the way and guide me through difficult times. These works were a way to communicate with my soul when my mind was trying to keep me occupied with negative thoughts. This one is to tremind you that there is a great power in silent focus. It’s a power that nature has mastered– being here and now, being ready for whatever is coming. Creating a space for things to reveal the way they really are. Not thinking, not trying to shape your experience with thoughts. Without boundaries limiting the truth. The reality is silence. It’s a place where everything is coming from and where everything will end. The place where all great ideas are born. To truly understand the lessons life is giving us, we need to reconnect with the silence within.
