This is Plateau Hut. Perched in the most spectacular location in Aoraki Mt Cook NP. These Alpine Huts are iconic, and are a part of New Zealand’s climbing culture and heritage. I love exploring these mountains and it brings me so much joy to be able to create artwork from my experiences. I love to capture the feeling of a place and being able to re-live that experience back in my studio when I create these pieces.
