In the vast stage of life, I glimpse an imposing pyramid whose origins are shrouded in mystery, and whose destiny appears uncertain. Humanity ascends the steps of this monumental structure, tirelessly seeking the promise of prosperity hidden in its ascent.
This game seems to be based on a simple premise: to climb. The general belief is that reaching higher is the key to victory, even though the purpose of that peak and the true rewards it offers remain in the shadows.
It is also understood that, to ascend, one must have funds in the official currency, the paper printed and sealed by the authority that dictates the rules of the game. It is also intuited that participating in society, having a position, a job, is crucial. Those lacking occupation or direction face greater difficulties in competing for "the ascent."
Within this hierarchy, there are jobs of varying complexity, from order execution to governing roles. These roles generate the necessary energy to keep the apparatus operational, and the cycle feeds itself. While the illusion of ascent persists, the reality of this model reveals a kind of slave farm.
In this work, we focus on one of the existing modus operandi within our staircase: the automatic treadmill, which keeps all players at the same controlled level, where leaders, employees, and the unemployed alike engage in a production and consumption dynamic that doesn't truly lead anywhere. Another of the many pitfalls within the pyramid religion.
The true masters of this machinery operate at even higher levels, in discretion and exclusivity. Occasionally, some players realize this charade and leave the treadmill, exploring the boundaries of their level in search of answers. However, the door to the upper levels remains prohibited and dangerous.
Fortunately, there is a revelation: the world is not limited to this pyramid. Other polygons and ways of life offer alternatives. Different cultures do not submit to this absurd competition for the peak of a pyramid. Human existence can manifest itself in multiple expressions when the search for meaning goes beyond crude and predesigned steps to climb.
