The arrow, the mountain and me.

At the center of my striking acrylic painting, you'll find a figure adorned with intricate tribal tattoos, symbolizing the journey of self-discovery and resilience. Two arrows cross behind them, representing direction and purpose in the face of life’s challenges.

In the foreground, the iconic figures of Cosme and Damião evoke a sense of protection and faith. Their presence serves as a reminder of the importance of believing in something greater, even when times are tough. Surrounding this serene scene are two lush banana trees, their vibrant leaves swaying gently, symbolizing growth and renewal in the midst of adversity.


This artwork encapsulates my belief that painting oneself is not just a form of expression, but a transformative process that allows us to see problems from a new perspective. By externalizing inner struggles through art, we can confront and reframe our challenges, finding beauty and strength in our stories.
