ART IS ALIVE

This image was initially created in defiance. In protest of censorship and in protest of institutional greed. The platforms that had been built by artists had abandoned them in favor of flash in the pan, easy to consume content. This “content” is the enemy of art. And I truly believed that at the hands of these tech giants, art was being suffocated. But this revolution, this digital renaissance, has changed everything. With the death of centralization and the old ways comes freedom. Freedom of finances, freedom of community, and freedom of art. The chains of the physical world are being broken and the establishments that put them in place are losing their grip. The power has been given to the artists and to the builders of this new world. Together they have breathed new life into art itself. FIAT IS DEAD. ART IS ALIVE.
