In 2023 I got to spend 12 days in Copenhagen, one of my favorite cities from an architectural view. This was my longest stay in Danish capital so I really enjoyed going with the flow and discovering more new architecture - working on my Urban Geometry series and a couple more projects.
This photo is a look up shot at Axeltorv, a new housing / commercial development designed by the Danish studio Lundgaard & Tranberg Architects and finished in 2017. Located within Copenhagen’s city center, the complex challenges traditional urban form, while offering plenty of shared collective spaces and a sensitively-scaled development.
