Light drifts gently through the trees,
softened by fog and time,
as if the forest itself is alive.
Shadows linger, but they do not prevail,
they simply make room.
In photography, as in life,
darkness is never absent.
Yet it is within that quiet dimness
that the light becomes most visible,
threading its way through branches,
finding every opening willing to receive it.
This image stays with me beyond the frame.
It reminds me that even when the world feels heavy,
the light is always there,
waiting to be noticed,
Waiting to be chosen.
