For nearly four years, I've minted artwork onchain, but almost every piece has existed in the digital realm. Whether created with AI or other digital tools, I've rarely offered the original physical works I make in my studio. Those have almost always remained in my personal collection.
This piece marks a different chapter.
Created entirely by hand, it began with a vintage children's book. I carefully cut and reassembled its illustrations into a new composition before building the surface with layers of acrylic paint. Every brushstroke, texture, and decision exists in the physical object itself.
Rather than minting a digital edition, this NFT represents ownership of the original artwork. The collector will receive the one-of-one 14 × 11 inch mixed-media canvas along with the NFT. Shipping is not included and will be arranged separately after purchase. Also included is complete process documentation, featuring photographs taken throughout the creation of the artwork from blank canvas to finished piece.
After years of creating primarily in pixels, this work is a reminder that my practice has always extended beyond the screen. I still find joy in cutting paper, mixing paint, and making something tangible with my own hands.
