this piece started as a selfie i took on my phone during july 2026. i used AI to transform it into a torn-paper collage style, then painted over it with my finger on my iphone.
one of my favorite parts was scribbling over my locs to bring back their energy and movement. the AI also somehow changed my naturally olive green eyes to brown, so i painted them back in much greener than real life. i ended up loving how striking they became!
