NO COUNTRY

On 6 March 2026, UN Women released a global report confirming an uncomfortable truth: no country in the world has achieved full legal equality for women and girls. For more than a century the world has been telling a different story. Laws were written. Constitutions amended. Equality declared. But the fragments remain visible. Broken statues of justice. Half-finished sentences. Promises splintering across the surface of the law. The red cuts through the image like a warning signal — a reminder that what looks stable from a distance often fractures when you step closer. Because the world likes to believe the question of women’s equality has already been settled. Yet the evidence says otherwise. Not one country. Not yet.
