DJ Larry Levan, Paradise Garage Film Strip

What a pleasure it was to photograph the legendary pioneering DJ, Larry Levan on a hot 1979 summer night in NYC, in the famed Paradise Garage DJ Booth. This film strip show various outtakes of Larry DJing, until focusing in my famous image of him that his been widely licenses in film and print and exhibited in museums and galleries around the world. 10% of proceeds from this NFT sale will benefit the incredible Lens On Life Project. Lens is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization, supporting photography and computer literacy training for at-risk youth around the world. By cooperating with host organizations, we build spaces to help students overcome trauma, grow artistically and gain skills to enter the global marketplace
