"The smaller the creature, the bolder its spirit"
One of the first pictures from "The Minipeople" – art series that illustrates my experience with depression. Each image is a message from my subconsciousness trying to help me get through the negative thoughts and show me the way. This one is a reminder of how the „creature”, which is your ego, suppresses your spirit. You feed your ego constantly by telling yourself you are better than others. What you could do Instead is look for things that will challenge you to make your spirit stronger. Allow yourself to be small, to fail, to be afraid. Let go of the image of yourself you have created in your mind and allow yourself to experience the miracle of your true nature unfolding. Make yourself small so your spirit can grow.
