Deep Forest

"Never go into the deep parts of the forest, for there are many dangers there, both dark and bright, and they will ensnare your soul." ”The Minipeople" is an art series that illustrates my experience with depression. Each image is a message from my subconsciousness trying to show me the way and guiding me through difficult times. These works were a way to communicate with my soul when my mind was trying to keep me occupied with negative thoughts. This is the work that started it all. The one that became a light in the darkness during the time I was depressed. The one that gave me strength and courage to explore the dark forest. The one that showed me the way. The one that gave me hope that I can still experience joy and passion. The one that made me realise how I was hurting my soul trying to be someone else. The one that gave me a new direction. I owe so much to this fish. Thank you for coming to me.
