"All paths lead to the same place, and that place is whatever comes next.”
”The Minipeople" is an art series that illustrates my experience with depression. Each image is a message from my subconsciousness trying to show me the way and guide me through difficult times. These works were a way to communicate with my soul when my mind was trying to keep me occupied with negative thoughts.
This one is about the illusion of having more choices than we actually do.
The real choice is not about choosing but rather accepting the fact that you've already made a choice, that you knew the answer right away when you asked the question. You may not be able to percieve it at first with your mind focused on the past or the future, but if you bring your awareness to the present moment, you may be able to touch deeper layer of consciousness – a place where everything that has ever happened to you suddenly makes sense. Nothing is there without a reason.
After all, there is only one choice that keeps coming back to you in different forms – will you choose to accept life as it is, or will you try to pretend things are different that they actually are?
