Let the Light Shine

Feeling truly in touch with the natural world is a little bit hard nowadays but there are still places where you fully detach. This grove of coastal redwoods is one of those places. Walking into them feels like traveling back in time... lush ferns and moss are everywhere around you, and of course, these humungous trees rising above you like natural skyscrapers. I've been fortunate enough to visit this place so many times, and every single time it's been the perfect reset for me. As you walk this trail, all you hear are your footsteps and the soft sounds of the leaves rustling. You also feel this incredible sense of scale here, the perfect reminder that we as humans are still quite tiny in the grand scheme of things. If you ever get a chance to visit the coastal redwoods of California, I cannot recommend the adventure enough.
