Into the Mist

Imagine a calm morning deep in the mountains, the sounds of birds chirping, water like glass, fog creeping throughout the valley and a whole lake all to yourself. This is my happy place. Witnessing a scene like this before the sun rises is so special to me no matter how many times I may have had the opportunity to do so. I love the tranquility of watching steam rise off of the water, the cool contrast of the lake against the fiery colours of fall foliage and snapping a photograph that looks like a painting. I hope this image of my happy place can bring you as much joy as it does to me because this is a moment I will hold onto forever.
