Autumnal Abode

People's first thoughts of a colourful Autumn tend to automatically go towards New England and Upstate New York. However, the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina feature a fantastic display of colour that rival their much more well known cousins up North. While on adventures, I strive to visit and photograph lesser known locations. I was pleasantly surprised when I visited this beautiful part of the world. On another note... I've always wanted to build a cabin tucked away in the woods, faraway from the worries of the world and the sounds of civilization. A place where I can truly disconnect, be with the ones I love and work on my art. While exploring North Carolina I found this place and that was all I could think about. I photographed it so it would forever be with me as a reminder to make my dreams become a reality. The cabin looks as if it is the king of the mountain, crested on top of a fiery sea of autumnal gold. It is true inspiration to make dreams become a reality.
